Pictures of some awesome biotches

I got a bunch of photos from Ravenmea's camera last night (she has a blog now, BTW, ravenmea.blogspot.com, check it out yo) so here are some pictures of a few of the amazing friends I have.

Jenn on ANTM night, I think this look was 'surprise'

Phil on ANTM night, his look was motherly

I love my friends. Don't know what I'd do without them, wouldn't want to find out. Holla!

It's been a while...

Wow, I think it's been forever since my last post. Work and life have been busy so please accept my sincerest appologies. I don't actually have much interesting to say since most of you know my latest knitting project. But for the rest of you, I'll not keep you in suspense. It's a jumper for a girl, not sure who yet, and the first instruction on the pattern was 'cast on 456 stitches'. WTF! So many damn stitches. Then, somewhat more irritating than the unending stitch casting was the second instruction *k2tog* repeat throughout the whole round! Jesus H. That means if I didn't care about having the frilly thing at the bottom I could have just casted on 228 or some odd stitches in the first place. Well, in the patterns defense the frilly thing is pretty cute.
Now for a recipe that Anatomist requested.

Best Soup Ever Recipe
1 can of corn
1 can of black beans
1 brick of cubed tofu (preferably firm)
Ungodly amounts of brewers yeast

Dump all of these things into a pot (don't drain cans for this is where the soupy part comes from), heat and stir. I add the yeast in increments and reccomend that when you feel you've added too much, add some more! Ah the nutrition! Enjoy with black bean chips and sour cream. Deelish!
