The Boss!

That's right, folks, last night I had the honor of seeing the motha fuckin' Boss in concert! It ruled. He played a lot of stuff from his new album, which Raven luckily got for me a few months ago, but he also played some old stuff, like my theme song Born to Run! The most enjoyable part, though, was watching the band interact. The've been doing this for so long and still seem to genuinely love playing together. Bruce and Steve Van Zandt (who is funny to see in a different setting from his role as Silvio on the Sopranos) shared the microphone a lot, like they are they best of friends. At one point Bruce sponged off Max Weinberg's neck with some sort of damp cloth, which was so cute and later there was a part in a song where only the two of them were playing. They stared at each other through the whole part as though they were making sweet musical love in front of us all. Boy howdy! All in all, an amazing show.

Where the crap did February go?

I mean, really, it's shorter than other months but not by that much. Anyways, I've got not one but two amazing shows to look forward to now! The first, The Boss, is less than three weeks away! OMG, I might die and I will definetely sob through at least one, if not several of his songs. Also, saturday we purchased tickets to Sasquatch Music Festival on memorial day weekend. The line up if f-ing amazing. The original draw was The Cure since this is their replacement to their cancelled show, but upon further review, we decided that not a day was to be missed of the three. MIA, REM, Modest Mouse, Mars Volta, The New Pornographers to name just a few. The band I am most excited about (KFR you'll appreciate this) The motha ucking Flight of the Conchords! Aaahh! I will be in the presence of my boyfriends Brett and Jemaine!! I can't wait, I am so hitting on at least one of them if at all possible...
