wow

baby liam is here. it took a mere 36 hours or some shit. he's very cute, and very alert. he didn't make a peep when i saw him. he blinked a lot. maybe cause he's been swimming around in goo for the last nine months. i told raven she was a rockstar and she said "that was the worst experience of my life". poor thing. 13 days overdue and then to have it take so long for the painfull part. that's over though. luke and i came home and put together our new pantry. i think now we may be able to unpack some stuff, now that there won't be family gatherings every night. deep breath...

We got keys...

We walked around, we showed the house to Jake and Raven, we had a beer (not Raven mind you). It was crazy, and awesome! Now I'm at the old house watching sex and the city. Soon we will move, and things will be even more awesome! Oh yeah, and my real estate guy gve us a $100 home depot gift certificate! Nice!

Yee Haw!!

I own a house! I get the keys on Monday! No more faucet with duct tape on it, no more Hawthorne laundermat, no more crazy Russian neighbors working on their cars at 11 at night, no more trailer on the street! Yay! Hello adulthood! Well, I am drinking a Rockstar-21 at 1 o'clock on a friday afternoon, but hey, I don't want to grow up too much.

why stealing internet sucks...

Well, my two college aged neighbor houses have recently been emptied and the elementary school across the street is out for the summer, which means my internet stealing has been nearly impossible. I'm on some network right now because I thought I'd just try and see if there might be one floating around. I have one tiny bar of signal. Damn. I think at the new house, if there isn't a strong signal to steal, we may just have to break down and pay for internet. I really don't want to, but I've become so dependant on the internet, I can't imagine only being able to use it at coffee shops. It would be so nice to be able to use the computer in any bit of the house. But I'm so cheap... Anyways, if the appraisal goes ok tomorrow, the house is a go! Good lord! We'll have several bedrooms, a fireplace, trailer and truck parking, a garage to house Hardcori's stuff for a while and then turn into a rumpus room later, gas cooking, a washer and dryer...the list is endless! And it will be mine, all mine! (Instert maniacle laughter here.)
